Amazing Feats

The Quadruple Bypass Burger is a cheeseburger with four beef patties, eight slices of cheese and sixteen pieces of bacon. It is offered to you by WingTown in Glendale Heights, Illinois (we designed their menus and are working with them to strengthen their brand and presence on the web). WingTown will knock it off your bill if you knock out the $25.99 cheeseburger in under 30 minutes. A couple of people have tried it and failed. A couple of people have tried it and succeeded. A man nicknamed “The Wolf” wolfed it down in 8 minutes and had a hot fudge brownie sundae to boot.

To eat a beef of that stature is an amazing feat. An accomplishment is just to complete a task, but a feat requires a great deal of courage, skill or strength. The Wolf has those qualities, or maybe he has no regard for his personal health. Whatever the case, I admire his willingness to dive in headfirst, figure it out and succeed.

Sometimes it takes courage for an organization to decide to rebrand. Sometimes it takes courage for an organization to decide to use a company to design their logo rather than to use the owner’s nephew who knows the program Paint. (By the way, you shouldn’t use Photoshop or Word to design your logo either.) That courage should come a lot easier hiring professionals and allowing them to work their magic. I know it can be unnerving sometimes, but I also know together we can accomplish amazing creative feats.
