Microsite Series: Timothy Christian School
Posted on September 30th, 2009 by Corenna

Timothy Christian Schools’ capital campaign is twofold, so Cultivate decided to create a microsite for them that is threefold. Let me explain…

When Timothy first talked with us about a microsite for their capital campaign, they already had a tagline in place: “Building the Campus, Restoring the World.” Their two-part campaign sought to raise money for an updated campus as well as for specific organizations around the world that Timothy supports. We thought it was a pretty stellar way to approach a capital campaign, so we took the campus/world theme and ran with it.

Cultivate decided to literally create a two-part interactive world for Timothy’s microsite: one side of the world allows users to explore the plans for improving Timothy’s campus, the other side allows users to explore the plans for supporting organizations beyond Timothy’s grounds. Check it out–the world actually rotates.

Explore Timothy’s campus: plant flowers while learning about LEED certification, watch the future campus spring to life while learning about each phase of development, find a Timothy student you know while checking out the school’s historical timeline, scratch The Thinker’s head while reading the FAQs…

Next explore the rest of the world: check out pueblos in New Mexico and huts in Uganda while learning about Timothy’s commitment to support specific Worldwide Christian Schools in those locations, flag down a soaring plane to learn about the capital campaign mission and vision, watch a group of actual alumni interact while learning about former students making exciting contributions to the world…

The microsite also includes a third section for those less inclined to explore. The Campaign Update Center gives users access to the practical details of the capital campaign–news updates, donation center, upcoming events–and allows Timothy to easily manage their own content.
